Pistachio harvest in northeastern Iran

A woman is picking pistachios on a farm in the northeastern North Khorasan Province, September 30, 2024. Pistachio is cultivated across 5,900 hectares of land in the province.

The country’s pistachio production is expected to reach 200,000 tons in the current Iranian calendar ending in March 2025.
